I love popcorn. I can even finish my box of popcorn while watching movie as well as my friend's.

Whenever i find the one next to me ( friend of course) is holding an unfinish popcorn box.
"hey, you can't finish it?"
"ya, it's too much for me."

Appreciation Night - 15th August 2009

Wow. I didn't realise that i had not updated my blog for a long time.
well, I think i should blog about Appreciation night (which had been organised on 15th August)

I had never been to a prom before. At the time i heard that there would be Appreciation night aka prom night for SPUS students, i just felt that Im glad to be one of SPUS-ian. =D
When the tickets were on sold, I was keep thinking of buying it or not. Does it worth? Will it waste my time and my money?
In the end, i still bought it.

Skipped all the parts of searching for prom dress, hairstylist, makeup, shoes, etc with my friends. Thanks all of you for accompany me =) )

Before the prom starting, Jia Ying and I went to Ivy's house. We were supposed to go to do our hair on 5pm, but we ended up went to there on 6.30pm something. You know, we don't know how to make up, and we managed to apply it by ourselves. Why i don't go for a make up artist? Because i don't wish to spend any more money on prom night.Both of them had their own date, and i was alone. Somehow, i felt a little bit sad, but i think i can have fun without a date, isn't it?


Well, when i stepped into the A night hall, i felt a little bit disappointed. It looked like we were attending an event like OO night or TT night, which means performances. Weren't we supposed to see a hall with a dancing pool in the middle and food serving around the pool?


To make myself forget about the disappointment, i took a LOT of pictures. However, the camera was borrowed from Zi Heng, and i totally had no idea on how to use it. Most of the photo captured by me were blur. I was so pissed off.. But thanks to Zi Heng anyway. She actually lent me her camera and brought it to college without a second word. Seriously, i was so touched at the time =) Thank you!!


I had enjoyed myself on that day. All the credit went to Erin. She made my day. XD
It was fun to be with her, and she turned to be my date ( i guess).


My favourite part of prom night is the last part- dancing time. Thats the reason i attended prom night. I want to dance! For me and all of us, the most interesting and fun of A night is the dancing part. The problem is, the dancing time was too short. I want to dance more!~

Orientation Odyssey Night 2009

Yes, i had enrolled myself into OO night of TARC. Sound amazing right?

actually, i was not the finalist of beauty peagant. I was the campaign finalist.

And it was kind of hurting my feelings, because during the audition, the crew member would look at you and distribute us into 'Campaign' and 'Performance'

Ya, good looking and normal appearance like me and you.The point is, even i was placed in campaign site, i failed in the first round of audition.Does that mean that I'm stupid as well as Ugly?

Who cares. haha

Anyway, i joined as the campaign finalist in last minute. Two days before the campaign week was over. I was a little bit regret, because it was so fun! I like most of the people at there. There was a total of 29 finalist, included me. Each of us was from different school, SAS, SBS, SOT, SPUS and SSSH (do i have to write down the full name? )

After the campaign week (fund raising for children of Gaza), we had to prepare for performance on stage at actual night. Choir it is. I enjoyed myself in the training. Although we had to train until 1 am every day, dead beat after got back to hostel and too tired to do homework or revision, miss some class for campaign week and training, being scold , tensed in memorising lyrics..blah blah, but it worth it. Every hard work we put in, every joy we had, every tears, they turned into my beautiful memory. It is something memoriable for my one-and-a-half-oh-so-short college life.

since many of the finalist performing imidation of MJ as their talent,

including us, that were going to sing his song.

Never heard about it before.

I got no choice but started to memorise it after i went back to hostel.

He taught us how to sing ( we were having express class indeed) and became our conductor too.

He is really a profesional (at least to me) in music,

can hit a really high pitch

When the performers was dancing.I like the dance! (can anyone teach me?...fine)

My personal favourite part of this drama, the dance with the song " Fresh Woman' by Rain. Their dance moves were really cute! I want to learn it..after watching the dance again and again, i can remember some of the dance moves, and do it with jia ying. It was fun!

While perfomers were busy and campaign finalist got nothing to do except waiting, which we had been doing for a long time.


ON THE ACTUAL NIGHT

Snips as OO night sponsor gave everyone, committee member, emcee, ausher, finalish, performer, anyone that related to that night make up and hairdo, for FREE!

However, i really don't like mine. The eyelash extension was really uncomfortable.Why do girls want to use it. Plus, they gave me a very thich make up and exaggerate hairdo. I look fake.SO fake. I felt really like an auntie. It made me felt so down..

At first, I was worried that everyone wouldn't accept me, when i was going to join as one of the finalist, without second audition.That was the reason i joined that late.

I didnt intend to help SPUS for this. I only want to help Jia Ying, when i saw her very busy and needed help.In the contrary, everyone are so nice to me. I was shocked, and felt relief. I should had joined earlier, so i could had more time with all of them. Im not regret for it.The only imperfection is campaign finalist couldnt manage to be friends with performance finalist, though i don't know whether they wish for it. We were all finalist, and we suppose to be more united, right?
